Account Violations (Hard Breach)
Hard breach are serious violations to our established rules. A hard breach happens when a trader exceeds the maximum daily loss or total drawdown limit, resulting in the immediate closure of the account. This applies during evaluation and funded.
Max Daily Drawdown – 3% (Trailing)
What is it?
The maximum daily loss limit is 3% of your initial account balance.
How is it calculated?
The daily drawdown is calculated daily at 00:00 UTC based on your account balance or equity. Your equity must not drop by more than 3% of your initial account balance in a single trading day.
Example:
For a $100,000 account, the daily drawdown limit is $3,000. If your account balance or equity drops below $97,000, you will exceed your daily loss limit.
Max Drawdown Limit – 6%
What does this mean?
Your maximum trailing drawdown is set at 6% of your highest recorded balance/equity during the evaluation.
How does it work?
Max trailing drawdown includes all closed trade profits/losses, swap fees, and commissions.
Examples:
$100K Account with $8,000 profit (balance = $108,000):
Your trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance of $100,000 after achieving 6% profit.
It will no longer trail further.
$100K Account with $5,000 profit (balance = $105,000):
Daily drawdown: $105,000 - $3,000 = $102,000.
Max trailing drawdown: $105,000 - $6,000 = $99,000.
Consistency Rule
What is it?
The consistency rule ensures steady and sustainable profits. No single trading day can account for 15% or more of your total profits during a payout period.
Example:
If you make $1,500 in one trading day, your total profits must reach at least $10,000 to be eligible to request a payout.
You cannot request a payout until the highest profit day falls below 15% of the total profits for the period.
What Happens if I Violate the 15% Rule?
Will my account be terminated?
No, violating the 15% rule will not result in account termination. However, you will not be able to request a payout until your highest profit trading day falls below 15% of total profits.
✔ What should I do next?
Continue trading and generating profits until your highest profit day falls below the 15% threshold. Once this happens, you will be eligible to request a payout again.
Maximum Loss Per Trade Policy
If your floating PnL (profit and loss) drops below -2% of the account starting balance, the account will be permanently closed. This ensures strict adherence to risk management protocols and safeguards the integrity of our funding process.
Example:
For a $50,000 account balance, if your combined open PnL across all active trades reaches a loss of $1,000 (-2%), the account will be closed immediately.
This rule emphasizes the importance of disciplined trading and risk management, ensuring that traders operate within acceptable risk parameters to maintain the longevity of their trading careers.
Consequences for Exceeding the -2% Risk Limit:
- Immediate and permanent closure of the account.
- No further trading activity will be permitted on the breached account
Important Note for $300k & $400k Accounts
For $300,000 and $400,000 accounts, a stricter floating risk limit applies.
If your floating PnL drops below -1% of the account balance, the account will be permanently closed.
All other Instant Funding Standard, Pro, and AquaMan accounts remain subject to the -2% floating risk limit.
